Dean Ellis

More commonly known (on Freenode, anyway) as Therion, Dean has been around the channel since early 2002, helping people with MySQL for free before being hired by MySQL to do support and development work for a living.

A Microsoft SQL Server DBA/Developer for many years, with occasional forays into DB2 and Oracle land, he began using MySQL professionally as a low-cost alternative for budget-conscious public institutions and private enterprises.

Not always patient, and not always kind, he is however always willing to help those who are willing to be helped.
